Your privacy is important to us.  This policy statement discloses the information practices for this site, including what type of information is gathered and tracked, how the information is used, and with whom the information is shared.

Division 33 does not use software tags called "cookies" on this site.

E-Mail
You may choose to provide us with personal information, as in e-mail with a comment or question.  We use the information to improve our service to you or to respond to your request.  Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary volunteers or U.S. Coast Guard employees who may be better able to assist you.

Forms
User submitted forms may be found throughout this site.  These include requests for assistance or information, notification, registration, and surveys.  Some report submissions are transferred to the recipient by way of email, while others produce online database files.  The information collected on all forms is considered confidential, and will only be used for the purpose for which it was provided.  All forms information will be destroyed after its purpose has been fulfilled.

Information Storage & Security
All information gathered on this site is stored and maintained in secure facilities, maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, that limit access to authorized personnel only.  Strict control is maintained on who is granted access authorization.  The USCGAUX.ORG Web site is regularly tested to ensure that all information collected is secure from unauthorized viewing.

Division 33 contains links to other external Web sites.  If you decide to utilize any of the external links, you will be directed to a site which is not covered by our privacy policies.  We recommend that you read the privacy statements of these sites, since their policies may differ from ours.  This privacy statement applies solely to information collected on this Web site.

Logos & Graphics
Logos and graphics (excepting the Auxiliary seal) may be used on non-Coast Guard Auxiliary web sites as graphic buttons that link back to the official Coast Guard Auxiliary web site.  Coast Guard Auxiliary logos and graphics may not be used to create a non-official web site that gives the appearance and general look and feel of the official web site.

Notification of Changes
If the privacy policies of this site are changed, a notification will be immediately posted on this page.  Information collected prior to the announcement of any policy change, shall continue to be used in accordance with the applicable polices in effect, when the information was collected.
